Events

Events is a section of the system where notifications are configured to be sent when certain conditions related to device data occur.

In this section it is also available to “Add a new event”. Managing the list of events.

Sorting is available for the list of events. Click on the name of any column by which you want to sort the list.

The number of entries per page is limited. 10 events are displayed by default.  To change the number of records, select a different value from the drop-down list.

List of events.

The event list has the following columns:

Active is a toggle switch that allows you to activate or deactivate an event. When the event is deactivated, notifications will not be sent.

When moving the device to the archive event is automatically deactivated.

 

“ID” is the unique identifier of the event in the system.

“Name” is the name of the event that was set when it was added.

“Device” is the name of the metering device or sensor for which the event was created.

“Model” is the make and model of the metering device or sensor for which the event was created.

“Notification type” is the type of notification to be sent (E-mail, SMS or Voice notification).

“Contact information” is the email address or phone number to which the event notification is sent.

“Repetition” is a parameter indicating a single or repeated triggering of an event.

“Context menu” is a menu where the following actions with the event are available:

  • Edit an event
  • Delete an event

“Editing” an event.

To edit an event, do the following:

  1. Select Edit Event in the context menu.
  2. Make the necessary changes.
  3. In the Notification tab click the Save Event button.

“Deleting” an event.

To delete an event, do the following:

  1. Select Delete event in the context menu.
  2. Enter the IDof event (highlighted in bold in the tooltip) and click Yes, delete in the pop-up window.
