The Nekta system provides for the possibility of mass import of metering devices and gateways.

Import of the metering device.

To do this, go to the “Devices section” and click the Import devices button, select the Import meter tab in the window that opens. Select “Resource Type”, “Manufacturer”, “Model” and “Connection Type”.

At the moment, it is possible to import metering devices only with a built-in modem.

Next, you need to Download the template for import and fill it out using “Background information on the fields”.

One import operation is performed only for one model of metering devices. That is, you need to fill in a separate file for each model.

Excel can convert large numeric values to exponential format (example: “2,81264E+13”). In this case, it is recommended to change the cell format to Text. Next, you need to upload the completed file. At the download stage, the system will check the file and indicate how many devices will be imported, as well as what errors were made when filling in.

The downloaded file must be in the format .xlsx

After the import, the number of successfully imported devices will be displayed. If not all devices were imported, you can download the log and see the reason.

Gateways import. To do this, go to the “Devices section” and click the Import devices button, select the Import gateways tab in the window that opens. Select “Manufacturer”, “Model” and “Connection type” of the device.

Next, we perform all actions by analogy with the import of metering devices.
